30 September 2025 – UiTM Selangor, Puncak Alam Campus was honoured to welcome the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, Chief Minister of Selangor, who graciously accepted the invitation to deliver a Distinguished Lecture Session in conjunction with Minggu Destini Siswa. He was warmly received by Professor Ts. Dr. Norazah Abd Rahman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), representing the Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, alongside the senior management of UiTM Selangor, faculty deans and more than 1,000 new students.
The session not only served as a source of inspiration but also broadened the perspectives of new students on the importance of leadership, social responsibility and their role as the next generation in realising the aspirations of the state and nation. On this occasion, the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri also launched the Selangor Student Community Programme, organised by Yayasan Selangor, which focuses specifically on the character development, leadership and welfare of Selangor students, while strengthening strategic collaborations between the university, the state government and the local community.
UiTM Selangor extends its deepest appreciation to the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri for his presence and for sharing his invaluable insights and experiences with the campus community, especially new students, as they take their first steps in their academic journey.
