
19 December 2025 – For the first time, the Car Free Day Programme was organised by UiTM Selangor as an initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage the use of environmentally friendly transportation, and reduce air pollution for the well-being of the campus community. The programme, organised by the Office of Facilities Management, recorded the participation of 194 participants.
A variety of activities were carried out, including cycling, recreational games, and health booth exhibitions, to foster active engagement among members of the campus community. Throughout the implementation period, the programme was estimated to have reduced nearly two tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, thereby supporting the sustainable campus agenda.
