11 May 2026 – In conjunction with the annual World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day Celebration, observed on 8 May, the Malaysian Red Crescent Society UiTM (Puncak Alam Campus) VAD SGR112, together with the Casuarina College Representative Committee and the National Blood Centre, organised a two-day Blood Donation Campaign at Surau Ibnu Sina with the support of the Islamic Affairs Unit of UiTM Selangor.
The campaign received strong support from both the campus community and members of the surrounding public, recording a total participation of 310 individuals throughout the programme.
From this encouraging turnout, 232 bags of blood were successfully collected to assist in strengthening the national blood supply for patients receiving treatment at hospitals across the country. Apart from contributing to healthcare needs, the programme also served as a meaningful initiative to promote compassion, volunteerism, and community responsibility among participants. The campus management extended its appreciation to all blood donors, volunteers, medical personnel, and members of the university community whose cooperation and dedication contributed to the success of the campaign and the well-being of society.
