15th July 2026 – Walk and Care 2026 brought together 57 staff members from UiTM Selangor, Dengkil Campus, together with students from the Centre of Foundation Studies, participated in Walk & Care 2026, an initiative that combined brisk walking and plogging activities to encourage healthier lifestyles while promoting greater environmental awareness. Organised by the Sports Unit in collaboration with the Strategic Administration & Human Resources Unit, the programme highlighted the campus community’s ongoing efforts to embrace active living and strengthen social responsibility through meaningful sustainability practices.
Through the plogging activity, participants collected various recyclable materials, including plastic, aluminium glass, and paper, which were then sorted and recycled. Beyond encouraging physical well-being, the initiative reflected UiTM’s IDART aspirations in strengthening values of integrity, social responsibility, and sustainability, while demonstrating the campus management’s commitment to creating a healthy, conducive, and environmentally friendly campus management.
