25th July 2026 – The Faculty of Education, UiTM, continues to strengthen its commitment towards entrepreneurship education through the successful organisation of the 9th artSMart Project Entrepreneurship Education Carnival, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent while empowering local communities through innovation and digital engagement. Designed to support B40 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the carnival connected entrepreneurs with wider market opportunities by showcasing how digital technologies, new media and creative marketing can strengthen business growth. The initiative also gave students the opportunity to put theory into practice, applying their academic knowledge to develop solutions that directly benefit entrepreneurs and the communities they serve.
In line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI, the National Entrepreneurship Policy 2030, MyDIGITAL and the Digital Education Policy, the programme reinforces national efforts to advance digital transformation, entrepreneurship, human capital development and community economic resilience. The success of the carnival was supported through collaborations with the Kuala Pilah District and Land Office, Negeri Sembilan; Eco Grandeur, EcoWorld Malaysia; the Industry, Community and Alumni Network Division (iCARE), UiTM Selangor, and the Malaysian Academy of SME Entrepreneurship (MASMED), UiTM.
