25th July 2026 – UiTM Selangor continues to strengthen its commitment to student welfare through the successful implementation of the Dapur Siswa Madani@UiTM programme at Puncak Alam Campus. The initiative brings together the Student Affairs Division, the Student Residential and Hospitality Unit, the Islamic Affairs Unit, and the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management in a collaborative effort to ease students’ cost of living while fostering a greater sense of care and community across the campus. As part of the programme, 800 students from the Puncak Alam and Puncak Perdana campuses received prepared meals, extending immediate support to those in need while reinforcing UiTM’s ongoing commitment to student well-being.
Beyond food assistance, Dapur Siswa Madani@UiTM provides students with access to a dedicated kitchen where they can prepare their own meals in a safe and conducive environment. The initiative is further supported through the provision of essential raw ingredients, enabling students to manage their daily expenses more effectively while encouraging independent living and healthy eating habits. UiTM Selangor also welcomes support from industry partners, community organisations and strategic collaborators to contribute raw food supplied and help sustain the initiative. Such partnerships play an important role in strengthening a more inclusive and sustainable student welfare ecosystem, in line with the aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education.
