August 28, 2026 — UiTM Selangor, represented by Casuarina College, successfully advanced its CASUAWIBAWA International Community Engagement mission through an official visit to the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture (FBSB) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The itinerary featured an opening ceremony alongside FBSB representatives and an International Seminar conducted through parallel sessions focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, arts and culture, green campuses (SDGs), and sports recreation. Additionally, the delegates immersed themselves in the local arts and cultural heritage by participating in specialized Eco Print and Gamelan workshops.
The academic and community expedition extended to Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) for the International Student Leadership Colloquium, which emphasized the empowerment of student leadership on a global scale. Furthermore, the delegation engaged in a residential management discussion with UGM management to exchange insights and share best practices concerning facility operations and student welfare in residential colleges. This collaborative endeavour aligns seamlessly with UiTM Selangor's ongoing commitment to elevating student learning experiences, cultivating global leadership, and fostering international engagement.
