17 November 2024 – The official launch and exhibition of the Faces of Malaysian Unity 2024 Photography were successfully held at Central Plaza I-City, Shah Alam. The launch was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Che Roslan Bin Che Daud, Director General of the Department of National Unity & Integration, representing the Minister of National Unity. The event also saw the presentation of awards to the winners of the Faces of Malaysian Unity 2024 Photography competition, organized by UiTM Selangor in collaboration with the Ministry of National Unity.
Also present were YBhg. Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin Sahib, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, accompanied by YBhg. Datuk Omar Shariff Mydeen, Board Member of UiTM, YBrs. Professor Dr. Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector of UiTM Selangor and YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Badrul Isa, Deputy Rector of Student Affairs. This programme is seen as successfully fulfilling the Madani government agenda to foster unity through a competition involving various segments of society.
