30 November 2024 – The Laman Seri Orkid Lestari at UiTM Selangor, leading the orchid conservation project has been successfully inaugurated. The launch was officiated by YBrs. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Hafiz Mamat, Deputy Rector of Research and Innovation, representing YBrs. Professor Dr Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector of UCS.
Located near the entrance to Cadamba Forest, this initiative represents an innovative collaboration involving students, faculties, government agencies, and the community. By engaging diverse stakeholders, the project contributes not only to environmental sustainability but also to fostering a more responsible and conscious society dedicated to a shared future.
