12th February 2025 - The Islamic Affairs Unit of UiTM Selangor (UCS) successfully organized the Critical and High-Risk Funeral Management Course. This course aimed to provide participants with knowledge about funeral management and the necessary requirements to carry it out, enhance understanding of funeral management according to Islamic law and established procedures, as well as improve practical and hands-on skills in this area.
The course lecture was delivered by Ustaz Afif Izwan Hj Nordinz, the Principal Trainer for Funeral Management at the Ukhuwah Bersama Organization. A total of 55 staff members from various departments at UiTM participated in the course which was also supported by facilitators from the Spirituality Unit, HASA.
