12 April 2025 – A total of 20 student volunteers from the Volunteer Brigade Association and 2 staff members from the Co-Curriculum Unit of UiTM Selangor participated in a flood relief mission at the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) SK Sg Binjai, Meru, Klang. This mission was carried out in collaboration with the Klang Social Welfare Department (JKM), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the Fire and Rescue Department, the Civil Defence Force (APM), the Klang District Health Office (PKD) and the Village Head.
The mission led by Madam Nursyakirin Jantan, Executive Officer (Co-Curriculum) and advisor to the Volunteer Brigade, was assisted by Mr. Wan Shahrul Nizam Wan Mohamed Ali, Senior Clerk (Co-Curriculum), who served as the Volunteer Brigade Coordinator. The participation of these volunteers reflects a strong spirit of volunteerism and UiTM Selangor’s commitment to supporting communities affected by natural disasters.
