Facilities Management Unit

The Facilities Management Division plays an important role in providing and ensuring the facilities are in the best condition and conducive in the health campuses, namely Campus Sg. Buloh, Selayang and Teluk Intan, in order to support the learning and teaching process as well as research. This division is responsible for planning and managing maintenance service contracts as well as resolving related customer complaints on campuses.

Basically, the Facility Management Division is under the administration of the Campus Assistant Rector's Office. It is led by a Deputy Director and directly assisted by facility engineering units. The engineering units are as follows;-

3. Clinical Engineering Unit

4. Civil Engineering Unit & Council

5. Contract Unit & Cost Control

Apart from managing maintenance services, this section is also responsible for planning, managing and implementing works to upgrade facilities and buildings as well as renovation works if required by the user.

Improving facility management activities as well as optimizing the use of assets professionally through the best methods and technology to provide infrastructure conducive and dynamic education, learning and research to the University

OBJECTIVE

Based on the University's Facilities Management Policy, this section is generally outlined five (5) objectives as follows:

i. Provide complete and comprehensive facility management services (comprehensive) to create an atmosphere of learning, teaching and research that sustainable and safe.

ii. Provide strategic facility management to increase efficiency facility service delivery. iii. The implementation of facility management achieves the set standards.

iv. Generate income for UiTM through several initiatives that are compatible with the portfolio facility management.

v. Be the best reference in facility management.

In order to meet the needs of the university in providing a learning environment & conducive and comprehensive teaching, the Facilities Management Division is always strive hard to fulfill the wishes and needs of users.
