Introduction

Student Residency and Hospitality Unit has been operating in Sungai Buloh UiTM campus in July 2010. At that time there was only one residential college only, Residential College 1 (RC1). Residential College RC1 has 9 levels and can accommodate up to 576 students. In September 2012, the Residential College 2 (RC2) has been completed and is able to house up to 584 students in a building 12 storeys high. Latest in 2013, Student Residency and Hospitality Unit has been completed a Residential College 3 (RC3) that seeks to provide placement facilities for 600 students.

Student Residency and Hospitality Unit governance in UiTM Campus Sungai Buloh headed by a Principal of the College, 1 Hostel Manager and assisted by two Assistant Managers Dormitory, one person and one person Assistant Supervisor of Operations. The hostel manager is responsible for reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor Campus Medical & Dental (Sungai Buloh, Selayang & Teluk Intan).

Leadership Development Program and College students in residence are the responsibility of the college principal. Implementation and Leadership Development Program at the College residence students UiTM Campus Sungai Buloh also involved Resident Staff College (SRK) and College Representatives Committee (NCC).

In line with the objectives of the Division of Student Affairs and Alumni, Student Residency and Hospitality Unit also aims to achieve the following objectives:
1) Provides placement, facilities and conducive environment in residential colleges.
2) Help coordinate human capital development program that is integrated and globally.
3) Offering a friendly and efficient service
4) Improving quality facilities in providing services, and preserving the students welfare.
5) Producing college management that is sensitive to the needs of customers, effective and efficient.
