16 October 2024 – The Career and Counselling Unit at UiTM Selangor Foundation Centre, Dengkil Campus, along with the PEERS Club, successfully organized an interactive student forum called "Bicara Interaktif Siswa: Case Studies in the Education Sector." The forum was attended by over 300 students and aimed to raise awareness about sexual harassment issues prevalent in today’s society.
The programme, officiated by Mr. Mahadi bin Kamaludin, Deputy Director of HEP and ICAN, featured Mr. Shankar Durairaja, Senior Lecturer at ELMU, as the guest panelist. According to Mr. Norhisham Ya’cob, Psychology Officer, the forum also served as a platform for students to report and seek protection from potential predators. It is hoped that similar activities will continue to raise awareness, especially among UiTM students.
