19 October 2024 – The Faculty of Pharmacy UiTM, in collaboration with strategic partners Alpro Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Practice and Development Division, Pharmaceutical Services Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, successfully organized EcoPharma@UiTM Selangor 2024 at Puncak Alam Mosque.
The program, officiated by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector of UCS, aimed to raise public awareness on proper methods for managing medications and pharmaceutical waste. Representatives from the Bandar Puncak Alam Residents Council, ICEPS, Aafiyat Holdings, and Pfizer were also present in support of the initiative. It is hoped that similar programmes will continue in the future to inspire further collaboration for the betterment of public health and the environment.
