25 October 2024 – UiTM and Green Leaf Consultancy (GLC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (MoA) for a three-year period at the UiTM Chancellery in Shah Alam. This collaboration is an initiative of the Centre of Foundation Studies, led by Mr. Syazuan Abd. Latip of the Physics Unit and supported by the ICAN Unit.
The event was attended by the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (AVC) of the Faculty of Built Environment, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Hajah Emma Marinie Ahmad Zawawi, the Director of the UiTM Dengkil Foundation Centre, Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farid Abidin@Bharun, the Deputy Director of Student Affairs (HEP) & ICAN, Mr. Mahadi Kamaludin and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GLC, Mr. Redza Abdul Malek. Also present were the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Hamzah Saidun and Mr. Mohamed Abd. Samad as the Head of Department (HOD) of Agri Sumber Prestari Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sime Darby (SD) Guthrie Bhd. This collaboration is expected to support research innovation in the palm oil sector and benefit staff and students through industrial training and in-depth community projects.
