3 December 2024 – UiTM Selangor’s efforts to enhance research, innovation, and commercialization opportunities through the UiTM Living Lab@Sabak Bernam initiative have been further strengthened with a collaboration with Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI Selangor. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officiated by YBhg. Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin Bin Sahib@Sahibuddin, FASC, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, witnessed by YBrs. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector of UiTM Selangor. MBI was represented by Ts. Saipolyazan M Yusop, Chief Executive Officer of MBI, and witnessed by Madam Zannifa Azura Ahmad, Head of Group Finance and Chief Financial Officer of MBI, during the International Hospitality and Tourism Conference at Mecrue Living Hotel, Putrajaya.
The MoU aims to share expertise, experience, resources, and knowledge in the fields of research, innovation, and commercialization between both parties to develop and enhance economic opportunities within the SABDA (Sabak Bernam Development Area).
