24 February 2025 – The Facility Management Office of UiTM Selangor in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry, welcomed a courtesy visit from representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the Ministry of Economy. The delegation, led by Madam Foo Sook Fuang, Deputy Director of the National Budget Office, Ministry of Finance was received by YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Haidzir Abd Manaf, Deputy Rector of the Sungai Buloh and Selayang Campus, who represented the Rector and chaired the meeting.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the funding application for the implementation of Remedial Works and Mould Remediation. A briefing was delivered by Ts. Zainolasri Abdul Sani @ Salleh, Director of the Facility Management Office, UiTM Selangor, who provided a detailed explanation of the current situation and the urgent need for immediate action. The delegation was also taken on a site visit to assess the affected areas firsthand and evaluate the scope of the necessary remedial work. It is hoped that this visit will expedite the approval process for funding, enabling the restoration work to be carried out promptly, thus ensuring the comfort and safety of faculty members.
