19 March 2025 – Congratulations to the Faculty of Business and Management and the Student Consumer Movement (GPS) of UiTM Selangor in collaboration with the Selangor of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Kuala Selangor Municipal Council (MPKS) and Pemuda GEMA Malaysia for successfully organising the MYSaveFood Ramadhan 2025 Programme. This programme aims to rescue unsold surplus food from bazaar traders and distribute it to those in need.
The event was attended by YBrs. Tuan Mohd Zuhairi Mat Radey, Director of KPDN Selangor, as well as Encik Syazwan Che Zulkifli, State Project Director of MYSaveFood Selangor. Also present were YBrs. Prof. TPr. Dr. Jamalunlaili Abdullah, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of ICAN, accompanied by Professor Dr. Ahmad Taufek Abdul Rahman, Rector of UiTM Selangor, along with the senior management team of UiTM Selangor. The presence of various agencies and individuals reflects a shared commitment to reducing food waste and supporting those in need of food assistance throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
