22 April 2025 – UiTM Selangor brought a refreshing twist to this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration by embracing the theme “Raya Hijau Lestari” (Sustainable Green Raya), in line with the “Green Campus” concept which emphasizes environmental sustainability. The event also coincided with the celebration of Earth Day, which falls on 22 April. What made the event particularly special was that all decorations used were made entirely from recycled materials such as paper, plastic, and glass. As part of the green initiative, all decorative items were collected in recycling bins after the event, thereby promoting awareness of eco-friendly practices and supporting the sustainability of the campus.
A heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks are extended to the entire UiTM Selangor community for their unwavering commitment, creativity, and strong cooperation in making the celebration a success. The spirit of unity and concern for the environment demonstrated was truly commendable and is hoped to be continued in all future programmes.
